Founded in Los Angeles in 1969. Owned by Transcontinental Entertainment Corp (TEC).
Around 1975, a Jamaican company used blank labels acquired from the US company. This company focused on reggae, and releases often have "Jamrec Music" or "Jamaica" printed on them. They also used labels from Winro Records.
