C.
G. Recording Corporation was established in 1959 by the Californian aircraft
entrepreneur Cliff
Garrett.
The first releases were few LPs and some 45s on the "main" label CG Records
in 1960 and 1961. Better known and more successful was the subsidiary Infinity
Records, which released 36 45s and one LP between 1961 and about 1965.
Cliff Garrett passed away in 1963 but the A&R manager of Infinity -
famous John Marascalco - managed to release until 1965.
