Musicor Records was formed in 1960 by songwriter Aaron Schroeder. 
Shroeder owned half of the record label, with United Artists owning the other half.
In 1965, the label was sold to Art Talmadge, co-founder of Mercury Records.
Musicor was sold to Springboard Entertainment in 1976 who was sold to Gusto Records in 1979.
