| Tetragrammaton was founded in early 1968 by Roy Silver, Bruce Campbell and Bill Cosby. It was distributed, but not owned by Warner Brothers, with it's main artists being Bill Cosby, Pat Boone, Sweet Thursday, Murray Roman and most importantly Deep Purple. Despite single and LP sucesses from Deep Purple and Cosby the label abruptly folded due to bankruptcy with Cosby moving over to UNI, and Deep Purple being immediatly snapped up by Warner Brothers. | |
